I’m not being paid to write about them but I’ve been using their transport service and they are okay. Also, entering a vehicle that is not registered to any transport company is a greater risk on its own.

It’s not that using registered transport companies are just too good but, it helps reduce the risk of onboard robbery, ritualists and other vices.

Step 2: You need to tell the driver where you are going

As a first-time traveler, you need to tell the driver where you are going so he can find the nearest place to drop you.

Mind you, this trip can cost you 200 to 300 naira.

Most drivers drop their passengers at different points, so it will help, if you tell the driver where you are going.

In this case, you need to tell him that you are going to “Goodness and Mercy Park“. It is located at Upper Iweka, by your right, if you are coming from UNIZIK.

There are a few places your driver can decide to drop you. He can decide to stop you at Zik’s roundabout opposite seaman’s filling station.

If he stops you here then you’ll need to enter another bus and tell them you’re going to Upper Iweka.

step 3: Get to goodness and mercy park

As you might have guessed by now, I don’t like entering transport services without names.

If you are going to FUTO, Goodness and Mercy will be a common recommendation. It has one of the largest population of students patronizing them.

From there, you need to enter the vehicle going to Imo State. But again, you need to tell the driver that you want to stop at Control Roundabout. Remember, Control Roundabout.

This is how it looks like….

Step 4: You have to enter a bus going to obinze/futo junction

When you arrive at the Control Roundabout, you need to then enter a bus going to Obinze/Futo Junction. It costs #100 on a normal day and #150 on a rainy/traffic-filled day.

The journey is a straight road one. As always keep reminding the driver where you are going. The duration of the journey can range from 15 to 25 minutes.

I hope this post helps you out. Always have enough cash while traveling and make sure your phone is well charged.

In conclusion:

Looking at the propose travel path above, the total price estimate is around 750 naira. But I suggest you have at least 1500 naira, to pay for transportation only. This is a good margin in order to avoid embarrassment on the road.
